Allowing Blocked Apps

If you receive a message similar to the one below when trying to install a program onto your Apple computer, you will need to adjust your security settings.
1. Go to System Preferences

2. Choose Security & Privacy

3. Click the lock icon at the bottom of the screen to access the features you need. If prompted, enter your password.

4. On the bottom half of the screen, find "Allow apps downloaded from:". Choose "Anywhere"

5. Click the lock icon again and return to install your program again.
