To backup only specific files that you wish to have backed up, the drag and drop method is best. Using the drag and drop method is exactly the same task you perform on a day to day basis of moving files into folders on your computer.

What you will need:

- An external hard drive or flash drive. At least 8Gb is recommended. Example hard drive to purchase. Example flash drive to purchase

How to backup:

- Plug in your flash drive or external hard drive into a USB port on your computer

- An icon similar to the one below should show up (Names may vary depending on device and settings)

- Now you may select files you want to back up and drag them onto the icon.
