Unhiding the Volume Control

By default Apple hides the volume control from the top menu. To unhide it, please follow the steps below.

1. Go to System Preferences under the Apple Menu

2. Choose "Sound"

3. Check the box at the bottom of the screen that says "Show volume in menu bar"

4. Exit System Preferences

The volume control will not appear at the top of your screen.
